Analysing Different Types Of Trailers - Introduction

There Are 3 Main Types Of Trailers:

Teaser - These Are Trailers Often Released A While Before The Film's Release Date (Often Many Months), Normally Around A Minute-And-A-Half Long. They Reveal A Little About The Plot But Not Too Much So They Can Create Anticipation (Teasing The Audience).

Theatrical - These Trailers Are Found In Cinemas And Are Much Longer Than Other Trailers (Around Two-And-A-Half Minutes), It Shows A Bit Of The Plot So You Can Get A Sense Of What The Film's About.

TV Spot - These Are Trailers Shown On Television, They Are Short (Around 30 Seconds) And Are Seen Close To The Films Release Date (Normally A Few Days Before). The Editing Is Often Very Quick Containing A Lot Of Images From The Film.
